Nichole “Nikki” Thompson-Andrade

Nikki is a former professional softball player and four-year starter at Arizona State University. Nichole was a member of the 2001 USA National team — she played in 2003 for Team USA, 5 years in the pro league, and has played for and coached The Washington Glory. Nikki brings 10 years of training experience to Rip City.

Cassidy Clayton

Camp Instructor—Coach Clayton has successfully worked as part of Jennie Finch’s Softball Camp Staff, as well as Carolina’s Elite Softball Camp Staff. As a player, Coach Clayton was recognized with All-Conference honors as a D1 softball player for the James Madison University Dukes. .

Dorian Shaw

Camp Instructor—Dorian Shaw is one of our primary camp instructors. She had a phenomenal collegiate career at University of Michigan where she was awarded the U-M Academic-Athletic Achievement award. In her final year at University of Michigan, Shaw was a Lowe’s Senior Class Award Finalist, USA Player of the Year top 25 Finalist, Big Ten Sportsmanship Honoree and team captain. Shaw was also named NFCA All-Great Lakes Region second team as a first baseman, and completed her senior season by hitting .365 with 12 home runs and 10 doubles. She was selected in the first round of 2011 NPF (National Pro Fastpitch) Senior Draft with the fourth overall selection by the Chicago Bandits.
